Looking for Wi-Fi settings such as speed and whatnot

Solution:

Here are some ways:

• Hold down "option" key on the keyboard and click on the top place where you connect to the wifi network
• Apple -> About This Mac -> More Info...
• Lion:  -> System Report -> Network -> Wi-Fi
• Snow Leopard: -> Network ->AirPort
• Command+Space to bring up the spotlight search
• Type in "Network Utility"
